Lily and the Celestial Isle of Wonders by Gabriel Barrett

Blurb:

A hidden floating island is discovered in the sky, accessible only through a magical portal. A young twelve year old girl named Lily stumbles upon this secret and befriends the inhabitants. But when the island faces a dire threat, Lily and her newfound friends must work together to protect their extraordinary home from an evil force seeking to exploit its powers.

Review:

I’ve been watching this indie author as he has been expressing his creative, literary mind and I like what I see. His first book was an absolutely adorable Children’s Book about a young witch and her monster friends on a journey for candy. This book, however, is for the older young adult group-and it’s equally as impressive.

A quick, but very entertaining and captive read! My Amazon review reads:

Extraordinarily descriptive book with lovable characters and enthralling story-line. Appropriately categorized by age and beautifully written.
Highly recommend!

You can’t get much better! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely would have loved it as a teenager!
